Ma.El Srl
Ma El (acronym of Elvino Mazzoleni, name of the founder) was born in Valle Imagna, province of Bergamo, at the beginning of 1975, after Elvino Mazzoleni, at the age of 26, he had left the role of manager of an important company specialized in the manufacture of moulds and production of metal stampings.
Together with his wife, Ornella, graduated in accounting, had decided to set up a small start-up, as we would say today, having already gained, although very young, a considerable experience and craftsmanship in the design, production and installation of moulds for the vast majority of the machines then designed and manufactured in Italy (especially in the Province of Lecco) and exported to the main world markets.
Since its inception, therefore, the Company’s orientation has been in the direction of specialization, quality, innovation and, last but not least, openness to international markets and direct knowledge of customers, their specific needs, with respect to which the Company has always been a reliable partner and able to provide customized solutions.
All these values are present today, even strengthened, thanks to the second generation represented by the brothers Barbara and Massimo Mazzoleni.
The milestones of our history
Foundation of the company by Mr Elvino Mazzoleni. The company was originally founded as a workshop specializing in cold forming, but very quickly, its specialization also focused on deep drawing and transfer molds. The company has become one of the only major suppliers of transfer molds and deep drawing of small and medium-sized industrial components. In the early 1980s, Ma-El began exporting both directly and indirectly its products outside Italy and Europe.
The sale of Ma-El products continues to expand and reach destinations all over the world.
The company moved from its original headquarters, located in a small valley of Bergamo where Mr Mazzoleni was born, in what has now become the current headquarters of the company ROLMA SRL (100% company owned by the Mazzoleni family which was founded with a CEO of ABB in 1988).
Acquisition of ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The company expands further by moving its headquarters to Presezzo in the province of Bergamo. Now the area occupied by Ma-El is 3500 meters of which 2000 meters covered.
The main activity of the company has changed from the production of moulds for the Italian and European markets to the international one for the production of moulded components for the industrial sector of which the automotive is the predominant market. Acquisition of IATF certification 16949:2016 and 14001:2015.
Ma-El Ltd Yantai is created to be part of an international development group focused on the realization of deep-drawn products for the automotive sector thus reaching a diversification of market (from Italy to western countries and from China to eastern countries).
Generational transition: the two sons of Elvino and Ornella take over the reins of the company.
Acquisition of a new annex building with doubling of the area on Italian soil (4000sqm covered on a total area of 10,000sqm).
Acquisition of a new factory in Yantai (CH) with the introduction of two new Presses (a Servo) to raise, once again, the quality standard and the availability of capacities. (1900sqm covered on a total area of 3500sqm).
Today Ma-El represents an international group with more than 10 million Euro in turnover and 50 employees. Putting the new website online.
